  • The Proposed Granthalaya will not be a mere edifice for a library, but will be a multifaceted monument that will embody a repository repository og books/granthas, among various other feautures.

 

  • 'Sri Raghavendra Granthalaya' will be a distinctive portrayal about Sri Raghavendra's life, his preceptors and disciples and his deities of worship. It will exhibit some important episodes chosen from the ancient scriptures and writings in the form of idols / paintings / artistic images that would be lifelike and illusory, created with imagination and perspicacity. The Granthalaya will be a marvellous spiritual centre, unparalleled in it's excellence.

 

  • 'Sri Raghavendra Granthalaya' is not the brainchild of any individual, but an outward symbol of the cherished desire of Guri Sri Raghavendra himself. Yes, Sri Raghavendra Guru has enlightened Amman Sathiyanathan, the author of Sri Raghavendra Mahimai to create a memorial that would disseminate our spiritual heritage and serve as a place of worship and such a venture has been taken on hand now, under his pioneering effort. The Project envisages garbhagrihas, a dhyana mandapa, gurukula, goshala, an oldage home, medical aid centre and a library, beside providing educational assistance to the needy students.

 

  • About 15,000 Sq.ft. of land has been acquires for the purpose in Suryodaya Nagar, neyveli village, near Poondi reservoir in Tiruvallur district. Suryodhaya developers have donated one acre for the 'Sri Raghavendra Granthalaya' project and devotees magnanimous contributions too have enabled the acquisition of land for the scheme.

 

  • The trust created for the cause, is now devoting it's attention to the commencement of building activities. The gigantic project is to be completed in three phases. As a forerunner for those, the Bhoomi puja was performed in a grand style by the holy hands of Sri Vidyasagara Madhava Theertharu on 8-5-2011, in the presence of Sri. AMR, Guruji Sri Raghavendrachar and a large number of devotees.

 

  • For expeditions completion of the work, we look forward to noble minded devotees taking part in this holy effort and making it a memorable success. A Square feet costs Rs.5000/- (for construction) and such amount or it's multiple or whatever could be spared for this holy purpose, may be sent by M.O / D.D. / Cheque / Bank remittance* to the following address.
