“Arulmigu Amman Pathippagam” established in 1978 is in its 32nd year of existence. The publication is owned by Mr “Amman” H.Sathiyanathan who is also a very versatile writer of spiritual books in Tamil language. He is also the Editor and Publisher.

Mr. “Amman” Sathiyanathan has been in the field of writing spiritual books in Tamil from his very young age. He used to visit the Kamatchi Amman temple at Mangadu. He penned a lyric in praise of the presiding deity, which was caught by eyes of the Kanchi Seer Sri Sri Chandrasekarendra Saraswathi Swami who immediately and unhesitatingly conferred the title “Amman” and told Mr.Sathiyanathan to prefix that word to his name. That is how H.Sathiyanathan came to be known as “Amman” Sathiyanathan.
Having chosen to become a full fledged writer, Mr.Amman Sathiyanathan started to write books on Sri Sri Raghavendra Swami after certain turn of events in his life. In that process he even declined to accept certain Government jobs also.
He has brought out books under the title “Sri Raghavendra Mahimai”. So far, seven volumes are released the last one was released at Erode on 7th February, 2007. Mr.Sathiyanathan is in no hurry to release the next volume. His works involve personal visits to the places about which he narrates or if he mentions about the miracles of the Swamiji to any of the devotees he personally visits that place. He will write only matters which is appealing to him and that makes him feel that the matter is worthy of being written in the book.
All the seven volumes of his books in Tamil are very nicely translated by Mr.K.Lakshmanan M.A., CAIIB, in English language under the caption “Sri Raghavendra-Saint of Mantralaya”
Volume one of Mr. “Amman” Sathiyanathan has a Telugu version also and it has been translated by Vidwan C.V.Sivramakrishna Sarma.
Mr. “Amman” Sathiyanathan has desires to get his books “Raghavendra Mahimai” in Tamil version translated into other languages like Kannada and Malayalam. Persons who have a flair for such works can approach Mr. “Amman” Sathiyanathan.
The books “Sri Raghavendra Mahimai” has brought fame to Mr. “Amman” Sathiyanathan and it brought him the to outside world.
